Hello! Today’s card not only uses new items from Spellbinders, but also a new stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I thought these products worked really well together, and I am really happy with the end result.

I started, as I often do, with building my die cut piece. In this case, It’s the Large Die of the Month for November 2026. It’s called “One Hot Birthday.” You have this huge cake that you can decorate, candles, and then basically a bonfire of flames to add to the candles. It’s so fun! You can omit any of these parts, if you’d like…but putting them all together make a great focal piece. I used Spellbinders cardstock for it.
As I looked through the November release from A Colorful Life Designs, I thought that the Starry Swirls Stencil would make a fabulous background for this cake. I went for a tone on tone look by spraying the stencil with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Spray Stain onto pink cardstock. Then, I stamped my sentiment, which is from the November Stamp & Die of the Month, with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink onto Seaside Cardstock.
