Hello! The November Clubs collection from Spellbinders is called Congratulations, You’re Older. I’m sharing two birthday cards today that use this month’s Press + Foil Plate Set and the 3D Embossing Folder. And can I just say, this is one of the GREATEST 3D Embossing folders EVER.

I started by using the Press + Foil Plate of the Month, which is called Cake Caper. It’s got 3 hilarious images with geese and cake, plus some fantastic sentiments. I pressed all of the geese, then watercolored them with my Koi Watercolors. I also pressed and die cut all of the sentiments.
Next, for my first card I used the 3D Embossing Folder, called Frosted Finish, with brown cardstock. Then I rubbed Over Coffee Catherine Pooler Ink on the raised areas. This really helps the dimension stand out even more. Seriously, isn’t it a fantastic folder?!

Next, I chose which sentiment I wanted to use and adhered it with the goose using 2mm foam tape. I inked the edges of my card base with Party Dress Ink from Catherine Pooler, but it was a bit too bright…so I toned the color down using Antique Linen Distress Ink. Last, I added some Crystal Iris Primrose Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs for some shine.

Since I already watercolored all 3 geese, this second card came together really quickly.

This time, I used a sandy colored cardstock with the embossing folder, and inked the raised areas with Cashmere Ink from Catherine Pooler. I kept the card base white, and then I used Luminous Poolside Card Bling.

I love these geese with this embossing folder. Really, you can use this folder with so many other things! I’ll be using it a ton. And these geese are hysterical.
