Hello! I really like the Holly Snowflake Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs because it doesn’t have to be a snowflake. It can just be a pretty design on a card that can be used for a myriad of themes. In this case, I made an encouragement card with lots of bold colors.

I used a rainbow of inks from Catherine Pooler with the stencil. The colors I used were Rouge, Tiki Torch, Limoncello, Lime Rickey, Aquatini, Something Borrowed, and Grape Crush.

I didn’t want my background to be completely white, so using Twilight Ink, I stamped the whole panel with the Encouragement Text Cling Stamp from Trinity Stamps. Unfortunately this stamp is discontinued, but you can use whatever text you like, even if it’s something not legible. I do however, really like what this stamp says. For a focal sentiment, I chose one from the Checking In Stamp Set from Kristina Werner and Concord & 9th. I inked it with Nocturne Versa Fine Clair. I inked the edges of my card base with more Twilight Ink, and adhered my panel.

This card is perfectly flat and easy to mail. It’s a quick one to make too. Your rainbow of colors can be anything that makes you smile.
