Hello! I have a funky Christmas card to share today that uses some products from Hero Arts’ Vintage Vinyl Collection. I love nostalgic holiday cards that have a 50’s vibe, and that’s what these products have. The Twinkle Toes Layering Stencils that I used on this card can absolutely be used year-round, which is great, because I think it’s really cool.

I started by making my background with the Twinkle Toes Layering Stencils and some Catherine Pooler Inks. I used Peppermint Scrub, Cranberry Fizz, Getaway, and Cummerbund Inks.

I knew I wanted to use the Cool Yule Die Set because it’s big, bold, and funky. I die cut it with Spellbinders cardstock. It wasn’t standing out enough though, so after I adhered the die cuts together, attached them to vellum, and did a loose fussy cut around them for an additional layer. To make the sentiment stand out even more, I popped it up with 3mm Foam Tape from Scrapbook.com. Then I added a few Opalescent Peony Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs. I left only a 1/8″ border, and left my card base white.

This color combo and nostalgic style is some of my favorite ways to make cards for Christmas. Please visit Hero Arts to see all of their latest releases. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
