Buzzy Pup-Bee

Hello! I have a sweet Halloween card today that uses the Exclusive Spellbinders Die Set called Buzzy Pup-Bee. This cutie goes along with the Woof or Treat and Pupkin from previous years. I actually need to add Woof or Treat to my collection. This trio is just adorable, but of course, you can use them on their own like I did today.

I die cut my Pup-Bee with various cardstock, including plain white for the wings, because I wanted to add a whole lot of sparkle to them after everything was assembled. I chose Star Dust Stickles and you can see in my photos just how much they glisten. I wanted to give my pup some candy in his little kitty, so I stamped and colored 3 candy corn from the August 2026 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month from Spellbinders. I actually fussy cut them, instead of using the dies, because I didn’t want to have a white border around them.

To continue with the bee theme, I went with one of my favorite stencils from A Colorful Life Designs, called Honeycomb Mask. You can use my code AlFan10 to save 10% off of of your purchase in their shop. I chose a piece of yellow cardstock from Spellbinders and inked the mask with Sauna Ink from Catherine Pooler. I removed the mask and inked around the edges with Gingerbread Ink, also from Catherine Pooler. For more shine, I splattered the whole panel with #903 from the Starry Colors watercolor palette from Kuretake. I wanted some black, so I added that too. My sentiment is from the August 2026 Clear Stamp & Die Set, just like my candy corn, and I inked it with Nocturne Ink. I used that ink on my card base as well.
