More Tags with the Turn the Page Collection

Hello! I have two more tags using the Turn the Page Collection from Esther Glass and Spellbinders. I LOVE this collection and I look forward to having some time to add some of my own collected ephemera to the tag book I have been slowly making.

I used the same tag die for both, but I trimmed off the strip with the binder holes on my second one. It’s from the Keepsake Capsule Page Die Set. For this tag, I chose a background paper from the Reminisce Book 10 Patterned Cardstock and then got it nice and inky with some Distress Oxides. Then I stamped out the gorgeous gal from the ING Words Stamp & Die Set and added some touches of color with Copics.

Then I just started pulling out ephemera not only from the Reminisce Book 10, but also from the Book 10 Cardstock Die Cuts. I also added some gauze and 2 of the words from the ING Stamp and Die Set. I added some yummy fibers to the top of the tag as well.

I LOVE this tag. I think it came out really great. It’s got the right amount of grunge and color. Now, let’s take a look at my next tag.

This tag is for the tag book I’m making, as I’ve left the binder holes in the top. I used the Page with Flap Pocket Die Set to make that fun pocket, and inside, I tucked one of the cards you get when you receive an order from Scrapbook.com. I love those little cards, and they have different sayings on them, so I thought this was a perfect way to show them off.

My background paper this time was from my stash of old sheet music. I inked it with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Spray. On the pocket, I stenciled some circles using one of the stencils in the Burst Mode Stencil Set from Spellbinders, which was the Stencil of the Month back in March of this year. You can still grab it if you didn’t get it back then…it’s a really good set! Anyway, I stenciled it with Quicksilver Glacier Paste, which I also added around the edge of my tag. It looks like solder, and I love that effect. I added some more ephemera and that fun binder clip die (cut twice from foiled silver cardstock) from the Page with Flap Pocket Die Set.
