Hello! I really love using abstract imagery in my projects. I’ve always been a fan of abstract art, and this is an easy way for me to incorporate it into my creations. The Organic Shapes Stamp Set from Hero Arts has a great variety of shapes and styles, so I decided to keep things really simple today and just play with shapes and color.

I really never do this, but I actually worked directly on my card base this time! It’s perfectly flat, so it’s super easy to mail. Using an acrylic block to keep things going quickly, I chose a stamp from the Organic Shapes Set, inked it up, and started to stamp on the left, going towards the right as I went along. I made sure to have some overlap on the shapes to keep them connected and to help your eye move through the piece.

I made sure to use a vivid rainbow of colors, using inks from Catherine Pooler. I used Mardi Gras, Juniper Mist, Orange Peel, Cranberry Fizz, Lime Rickey, Tiara, Royal Treatment, Suede Shoes, Tiki Torch, Grape Crush, All That Jazz, and Merlot. My sentiment is from Hero Arts’ Perfect Pairs Stamp Set. Did you notice I accidentally made a little carrot?

Creating a bunch of these would make wonderful gifts. It’s playful and happy. Please visit Hero Arts to see all of the latest releases. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
