Hello! Today I’m using some of the products from the You’ve Got a Friend Collection from Hero Arts. I really like the Abstract Floral Stamp Set. Dies are available, but I don’t have them. I also love a good checkerboard, and the Check Please stencil has a wonky quality that’s really cool.

I applied a light layer of Cashmere Ink from Catherine Pooler through the Check Please stencil. My pad needs to be reinked (and I need to buy the reinker), so it’s a bit lighter than I would have liked, but I wanted it pale. Then I chose some other muted colors in the Catherine Pooler line to finish off the card with the flowers.

When creating an all-over print, it’s a good idea to start with the largest stamp and work your way down to smallest, this way you can ensure that things will fit how you like. So I stamped my 3 large flowers with Pink Champagne, then added the foliage with Sage. I added the 3 small flowers with Queen for a Day, and the small dots with Crushed Violet. The middles of the large flowers were inked with Crushed Violet and Royal Treatment. My sentiment is from the Hello Friend Stamp Set, and I inked it with Royal Treatment. I used a blending brush and the purples I used to add color to the card base.

You don’t need to go with my color choices for this. Bold, bright colors would be amazing too…I just wanted to try something a little different today. What colors would you use? Please visit Hero Arts to see all of the latest releases. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
