Greetings! Graduation season is here and I’ve got a classy card to share. Spellbinders recently came out with the Classic Mouse Graduation Collection. While it features a character many of us love, I opted to use some of the other components. This is easy and totally customizable for whatever school colors you may need.

I really like the Classic Mouse Graduation Sentiments Press + Foil Plate & Die Set. The tassel is so big and detailed. I pressed it into a piece of Porcelain Cotton Cardstock with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink. I also pressed the “Class of” with the same ink.

I used the dies in the set to cut the year with gold foiled cardstock and black. I wanted more gold on the card, so I added a thin line of VersaMark Ink and then heat embossed it with gold powder. I thought the card needed a little something else. I wanted to add some splatter, but I really didn’t want to overo it. So I used a black Micron pen to add some faux splatter across the card.

I am so happy with how this turned out. It’s simple but impactful. Please check out all of the latest releases from Spellbinders. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
