Greetings! Today’s card is made entirely with the new Cardstock Collection from Scrapbook.com. I loved using the different styles of cardstock to make this fun coastal-themed card, using a few of Scrapbook.com’s excusive die sets.

I started by creating my background using the Coastal Borders Die Set. The water is from the Classic Cardstock Collection and is made from Blue Lagoon. I sprayed it with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Spray for some interest. The beach was made with their Kraft Cardstock and I splattered it with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and white ink.
My sea creatures are from the Coastal Charms Die Set. I made the crab with the Canvas Cardstock in Mandarin and Daredevil. The turtle was done with Mint Julep from the Canvas Collection and Cypress from the Classic. The fish is made of Blueberry Classic and Tuscan Sun Canvas. I added back some of the details on the fish and turtle with a black pen and an orange marker. My sentiment is from the Essential Thanks Die Set and I used more Cypress Cardstock and Glacier Blue from the Glimmer Collection for the shadow layer.
I loved putting this scene together. I really like the Coastal Borders Die Set, and can see myself using them for more than just water. I’m also loving all of this new cardstock.
