Hello! Yana Smakula has a beautiful new collection with Spellbinders called Yana’s Tulips. I have a couple products in the collection, and I used them on my card today. I’ll have additional versions soon, so I hope you’ll look out for them.

Using the Windmills and Tulips Press & Foil Plate and Stencil Bundle, I created my background on Strathmore Smooth Bristol Cardstock with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink. The stencils make it simple to add color to the design. You can use them in any order you like, because it’s so easy to line them up.

Here’s a breakdown of the Distress Ink colors I used:
Sky: Fossilized Amber, Wild Honey, Saltwater Taffy
Windmills: Gathered Twigs, Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Flowers: Mustard Seed, Scattered Straw, Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness
I used Waffle Flower’s Shader 1+ Brushes and their Shader 2+ Brushes to apply the colors. My sentiment is from this month’s Clear Stamp & Die of the Month, which I inked onto ivory cardstock because white was too harsh. I inked the edges with Cashmere Ink from Catherine Pooler. I kept the panel full size to fit on my A2 card base.

I love this sunrise/sunset sky with all of those lovely yellow tulips. It doesn’t take very long to complete this card since the layering stencils make it so easy. As I mentioned, I’ll have more with these products soon. Please check out the latest releases from Spellbinders. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
