Hello! I have a card that totally cracks me up today, and I couldn’t wait to share it with you. So I am still on my Buon Apetito kick….this is a collection from Spellbinders that’s all about pasta. And the sentiment stamps are punny and fabulous. I immediately had an idea when I saw the Star Halo stencil from A Colorful Life Designs, and this is what it was.

The ravioli is from the Pasta Friends Die Set and I out of a pale yellow cardstock. Tiara Ink was the perfect color for shading. It’s so darn cute, it cracks me up whenever I look at any of the pastas in this set. Next, I laid the stencil onto a piece of navy blue cardstock and used VersaMark Ink through it.

I also stamped my sentiment with VersaMark Ink, which is from the Stay Saucy Stamp Set. This statement could be true of me at any given time, by the way. Then I used a super fine gold embossing powder on top and heat set it. The shine is fab! I decided to also use VersaMark with the powder on the card base, around the edges, to give it a really gilded look. It’s got such fabulous shine! I popped up the focal panel with Foam Tape and did the same for the ravioli. I adhered him at an angle for some whimsy.

I love this silly card, and I hope you get a good giggle from it. Please be sure to visit Spellbinders to see all of the latest releases.
