Happy November! I have already posted my new release video for A Colorful Life Designs, so if you missed that, please check it out HERE. I needed to keep the excitement going, because once again, I have so much to share with you this month, so I thought I would show you a card appropriate for today, which is in celebration of Día de los Muertos. I used the new Sip, Sip Ole Die Set from Spellbinders for it.

I thought it would be fun to use some of my alcohol ink panels that I’ve made, especially because it would look like the drink is swirling in the glass. The drink, cactus, and leaf was done with Mojito and one of the Alloys. The back piece of the sugar skull and the flowers were done with Vineyard. I used metallic copper cardstock for the glass and stir stick. My sugar around the rim was done with white cardstock and Frosted Lace Stickles.

My background is from a discontinued paper pad from Crafter’s Companion, and I inked 3 of the edges with Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink. My sentiment is from the Lisa Horton and Spellbinders Merry Sentiments Clear Stamps & Dies Set. I used some lavender Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs to finish it off.

I think this is so festive and perfect for today. I really love using my alcohol ink panels with die cuts. It always makes them look so interesting without the effort of having to color a die cut.
