Greetings! I have two adorable House Mouse cards to share. I needed a bit of a break from all the winter and Christmas cards I’ve been working on. I love when Spellbinders releases new House Mouse stamps, because I always love coloring them. I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens for both, and I’ll have a break down of the colors I used below. Let’s start with Halloween, shall we?

This stamp set is called Trick or Treat! and I think it’s so cute. These mice are having such a good time! Here’s how I colored everything:
Skin: 071, 072, 064, 028
Fur: 075, 096, 901, 091, 097, 905, 062, 072, 068, 603, 064, 075, 064, 603
Jack O’ Lantern: 023, 070, 052, 094, 090
Candy: 022, 020, 047, 041, 062, 050, 052, 023, 070, 081, 082, 042, 036
Shadow: 091

I used strip of paper from Queen & Company and some yellow cardstock. I inked the ground of the colored panel with Lost Shadow Distress Ink and the top with Evergreen Bough. I used Royal Treatment from Catherine Pooler on the card base.

My second card uses the Hats Off to You! stamp set. This one is just perfect for the entire Autumn season. I used a number of other Spellbinders products on this card, but let’s start with how I colored the focal image.
Skin: 071, 072, 064, 220
Fur: 094, 905, 091
Acorn: 060, 028
Caps: 067, 060, 071
Leaf: 050, 052, 023
Shadow: 075, 900
I trimmed the panel down and inked the edges with Gathered Twigs and Walnut Stain Distress Inks.

I wanted some texture, to mimic the acorn caps. The new Dimpled 3D Embossing Folder was just perfect, and I used a deep orange cardstock for it. I mounted it onto a white card base, topped with Kraft cardstock, and then a layer of 1mm Foam Tape. In addition, I added a sentiment from the Hats Off to You stamp set, which I die cut with a banner die from the August Clear Stamp & Die Set of the Month. I also chose two die cuts from the Autumn Archives Cardstock Die Cuts Set. The white on all 3 of these things was a bit too stark, so I inked them with Desert Sand Memento Ink and my Waffle Flower Shader 1+ Brush.

Two adorable stamp sets, right? And each come with a few sentiments so you have lots of options. Please be sure to visit Spellbinders to see all of the latest releases. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
