Hello! Today’s card is quick to make, and you may be able to get a two-fer out of it! I used the Bauhaus Poster stencil from A Colorful Life Designs, which is so cool, with a couple of Dylusions Sprays.

I didn’t use any Pixie Spray on my stencil to keep it tacked down, but if you’re doing this technique, you may want to, as I had some color seep underneath. I fixed it later with white ink, but Pixie Spray would have prevented it from happening. To get this look, I sprayed Lemon Zest and Funky Fuchsia Dylusions sprays, going much heavier with the Lemon Zest so that it wouldn’t get taken over. The combination of those two colors is that glorious hot pink.

I inked a sentiment from Honey Bee Stamps’ Big Time Kindness Stamps and Dies with Glamorous VersaFine Clair Ink and then a few Crystal Iris Primrose Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs. I painted the same Dylusions colors on my card base, because I don’t have a stamping ink this color. And this way, I know it would perfectly match.

While there’s still overspray on your stencil, you cam flip it over onto another piece of cardstock to get a monoprint. You may need to add a little water to help the colors flow. You can also add layers to this later. Please visit the A Colorful Life Designs website to see the thousands of available stencils. Be sure to use my code, AlFan10 to save 10%.
