Hello! Today’s card uses a new Christmas die set from Lisa Horton and Spellbinders, but I definitely did not make a Christmas card today. I love using stars on cards, and this die set is fabulous to play with. It’s called Essential Stars. I even got to use a background I had in my stash for a while.

I cut the bigger stars out of teal cardstock and then went over the edges with a BG49 Copic. The smaller stars were cut out of a fuchsia foiled cardstock, and I added vellum to the open interiors. My background was made with the Twinkle Stars Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs, which was sprayed with Funky Fuchsia Dylusions Spray. I wanted to bring in some more teal, so I inked the edges with Aquatini Ink from Catherine Pooler.

My sentiment is from the Cats & Pugs Sentiments, and I stamped it with Warm Breeze VersaFine Clair Ink. I inked the edges with Flirty Fuchsia Ink, which I applied heavier on the white card base. I added some 1mm Foam Strips to the sentiment.

You can easily turn this into a Christmas card by changing the colors. You can also change the colors to suit whoever your recipient it.
