Greetings! Today’s card uses the adorable new Pupkin die set from Spellbinders, as well as the older (yet still very cool!) Tangled Webs Stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. This was a perfect pairing!

I die cut Pupkin and put him together with his treat basket, doing some minimal ink blending along the way to add depth. I used my beloved Waffle Flower Shader 1+ brushes for this with a variety of ink brands. For the background, I started with Scrapbook.com’s Black Mixed Media Paper and sprayed thought the stencil with Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Spray. At first, it was super green, but the color oxidized so much, it almost looks white now. Has this happened to you? Is it because it’s so hot here? It still looks really cool, nonetheless, but I do wish it still looked like the true Twisted Citron Color.

My sentiment is from Hero Arts’ new Spooky Season BetterPress + Foil & Cut Set. I inked the sentiment with Nocturne VersaFine Clair, and then ink blended Twisted Citron Distress Ink on top. I also added some Metallic Lime Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs.

What can I say? Making Halloween projects makes me happy, and this Pupkin definitely does that. Please be sure to visit A Colorful Life Designs to see the thousands of amazing stencils they have.
