Ciao! Today’s card is from the La Dolce Vita Collection from Spellbinders, and it’s called Ciao Spaghetti. This is a fun little set that doesn’t require much time to complete a card. I kept things pretty clean and simple.

I die cut the face and ink blended it a bit with Antique Linen Distress Ink . I of course needed to make her lips a bold red so they’d really stand out. I die cut the pasta pieces a few times each (the ciao only once) so that I could create a small tangle of pasta on the bottom.

I cut a background of navy cardstock. I wanted to create some depth, so I inked an arc across the bottom with Black Soot Distress Ink. I inked my card base with more Antique Linen.

Pretty simple, right? The spaghetti is definitely fiddly, but you don’t need to add as much as I did, and you really don’t need much to have a good looking card. Please visit Spellbinders to see all of the latest releases. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
