Hello! Blue and orange are opposite each other on the color wheel, so when they’re put next to each other, they really pop! I decided to use that to my advantage on today’ card, which uses the Gears Mask from A Colorful Life Designs.

I laid the Gears Mask on top of a subtle patterned paper from Prima. If you look closely, you’ll see bright green grid lines here and there. I sprayed the mask with Distress Oxide Sprays in Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina. After the panel dried, I stamped the Crack Up stamp from AALL & Create here and there with Twilight VersaFine Clair Ink, which I did imperfectly on purpose.

I die cut my sentiment using the Everyday Alphabet Die Set from Avery Elle out of navy cardstock. I went over each letter with a Wink of Stella Pen for a touch of sparkle. I inked the edge of my card base with Melon Ice Ink from Catherine Pooler, because it matched those grid lines perfectly.

I love these bold colors together. They really stand out. This is such a fun mask to use, and I really need to get it onto my Gel Press.
