Ahoy Matey! I used a couple of June 2025 Club Kits from both Spellbinders and Hero Arts for today’s card. The star of the show is the seagull from the Spellbinders Small Die of the Month. I am truly having so much fun with these beachy and coastal themed cards.

I die cut my seagull with white, gray, and orange cardstock. I added some touches of color with inks. I then cut out some ovals with the Spellbinders Scallop & Stitched Ovals Die Set. On the white layer, I stamped anchors from the Clear Stamp & Die Set of the Month repeatedly with Lost Shadow Distress Ink. I also stamped my sentiment on that layer with Twilight VersaFine Clair.

On my card base, I used the Hero Arts Cling Stamp of the Month, which I’ve used a bunch of times already, with more Lost Shadow. I know Distress Inks aren’t the best to stamp with, but I wasn’t going for perfect stamping. I wanted it to look worn and weathered away, and that’s exactly the effect I got.

That seagull is so cute. I really like how this all came together. The soft stamping with the Lost Shadow ink is perfect for this kind of card, and I really like that I can use Spellbinders and Hero Arts products together so easily. Please be sure to visit both Hero Arts and Spellbinders to see each of their Kits for this month. They’re really fantastic. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
