Hello! When I think of “Rainbow Roads,” I think of Super Mario Kart. Those were always some of my favorite courses to play. But in this case, I’m talking about the Mid-Month Inspiration stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. It’s really cool, and it’s at a special discounted price this week!

I had a fun and colorful Gel Press print I made with acrylic paint, and i knew it would be perfect for this stencil. I used a glossy white paste through the stencil and let it dry. I cleaned off my stencil immediately so the paste wouldn’t dry on it. Meanwhile, I stamped my sentiment, which is from the Checking In Stamps and Dies from Concord & 9th. I stamped the top half with Serene, and the bottom half with Crushed Violet ink, both from Catherine Pooler.
I wanted more of that fabulous color, so I inked the edges of my white card base with more Catherine Pooler Inks. I used Be Mine, Limoncello, and Aquatini, making sure to blend the colors a bit where they met. Finally, I added some Luminous Poolside Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs for shine.
I think this came out so cheerful! I’m always happy when I get to use a monoprint from my stash. Rainbow Roads is such a great stencil, I hope you get to take advantage of the sale.
