Hello! Today I’ve got a card that’s great for any gal that’s graduating. Last week, I shared THIS card, and you could mix and match these techniques. Today’s card uses the Graduation Party and Girl Congrats stencils from A Colorful Life Designs.

I used a gray paper from the Daybreak Paper Pad from Scrapbook.com for my focal layer. I wanted to keep things neutral so that they would work no matter what someone’s class colors are. Then, using my favorite gray ink collection, I blended the Graduation Party stencil onto the paper. The inks are Altenew’s Warm Gray Mini Ink Cubes and I started at the top with Morning Frost, then blended into Evening Gray, then Moon Rock. For the girl, I used Lava Rock.

Next, I cut a white strip of cardstock and stamped my sentiment repeatedly across it. It’s from the CZ Design and Simon Says Stamp Clean Line XL stamp set. I stamped the sentiment with Lava Rock, and then inked Morning Frost on top so that the strip wasn’t so stark. Next, I cut a wider strip of gray cardstock and mounted them diagonally on the card. I finished it up with some Satin Matte Silver Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs.

You can batch these cards pretty quickly if you don’t mind doing a lot of ink blending. You can of course customize the colors to however you like.
