Hello! The other day I posted THIS card using the Timeless Truck from the Classic Road Legends collection by Mindy Eggen and Spellbinders. Today, I’m sharing my favorite vehicle from the lineup, which is the Muscle Car. I used the Scenic Drive stencils on this card too, which are also part of his collection.

I put my Muscle Car together first, using purple foiled paper from Michaels, with some shimmery silver cardstock from a company that’s no longer in business. I think it came out so cool, and it makes me excited that car show season is upon us. I used to go to car shows with my dad almost every week in the summer, and now I go with my husband and kids. There are a lot of pieces to this die set, and I highly recommend you visit Spellbinders’ web site to view the photo that shows where the parts go. I actually saved the photo to my phone (I do this often with detailed die sets) so I can refer to it easily if I need to. I’ve gotta say though, for all those bitty pieces….the end result is freaking awesome.

For the Scenic Drive stencils, I used a bunch of Distress Inks. This set is really easy to work with, and you can use lots of different color combos for a fabulous background. I used Carved Pumpkin, Rustic Wilderness, Tumbled Glass, Gathered Twigs, Peacock Feathers, Mustard Seed, and Wild Honey. I die cut the scene out with a basic circle die.
My golden yellow background layer was embossed with Spellbinders’ Embossing Folder of the Month for May 2025, called Abstract Study. I really love this one because it works for so many themes and styles. I added my sentiment which is from the Classic Sentiments die set, using the same purple foiled cardstock and white that I used on the car. I inked the edges of my white card base with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink.

I love how this turned out, and even though some of the bits are pretty fiddly, it’s a lot of fun to put the Muscle Car together. This Classic Road Legends Collection is so cool, and it’s got a lot of sentimental value to me, which makes it even more special. I hope you’ll check it out over on the Spellbinders website. There are lots of other new collections too. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
