Hello! I am crazy about the Field Notes Collection from Spellbinders. I keep going back to it because it’s so inspiring! Today, my focus began with the Field Notes Embossing Folder, then I added in some of the dies from the collection.

I inked the embossing folder with Old Paper and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide. I didn’t worry about good blending, I just made sure I covered the folder. Then I ran it through my die cut machine with white cardstock.

Next I die cut the Field Notes Twine out of a maroon cardstock and the thistle from the Field Notes Wildflowers die set out of green and purple cardstock. I added a bit of Seedless Preserves Distress Ink to the flowers with my Waffle Flower Shader 1+ Blending Brush. I popped my panel up with 1/4″ Foam Tape from A Cherry on Top after I inked my card base with Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide.

I love the look of this card. That embossing folder is stunning, and all of the dies in this collection make me want to get outside and start examining the buds and sprouts around me. Be sure to visit Spellbinders to see all of the latest collections. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
