Hello! The new Fancy Heart stencil from A Colorful Life Designs has a whole lot of wow factor. There are so many beautiful details and it’s a snap to ink up. I decided to break out some of my Distress Inks to make a flat but beautiful rainbow card.

I started with Candied Apple for the heart (this stencil comes with the heart mask too!), then I faded into Carved Pumpkin and Mustard Seed. Next I used Mowed Lawn and Peacock Feathers, followed by Wilted Violet.
In the heart, I used Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink with the Shadowed with Love stencil for my sentiment I didn’t add any sequins because I wanted to keep this card super flat. I could have done all of my ink blending directly on the card base, but I really prefer to have at least one additional layer, and I like having a border.
