Hello! I am excited to share a card using the Large Die of the Month (Botanical Atrium) from Spellbinders. I was so inspired as soon as the dies arrived that I started to use it right away. I love the atrium dies and the flowers are just so pretty. If you’d like info on the various Club Kits from Spellbinders, click HERE.

The first thing I did was cut the focal layer of the atrium out of copper cardstock from Michaels. The shadow layer was cut from vellum. Then I chose my cardstock colors and which flowers and foliage I wanted to use. I played with cardstock from My Colors and decided to make the pieces growing up the side of the atrium, so I didn’t hide much of the pretty details. I didn’t add any additional color (like ink blending) to the die cuts.
My sentiment is from the Clear Stamp & Die Club, and I used Shady Lane VersaFine Clair to ink it up. My background paper is ridiculously old and is from K & Company. I thought it went so well with the dies. I kept my card base white this time so that it would work with the sentiment.
I really love this die set. I had so much fun putting it together and I can’t wait to make more projects with it. Please visit Spellbinders to see all of the latest releases and to check out the many Club Kits that they offer. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
