Hello! This card is bold! I’ve said it many times but, I LOVE the Beads of Friendship Collection from Spellbinders. The versatility is awesome, and I love how playful and fun all of the elements are. This was a pretty quick card to make because I used a Gel Press monoprint that I had made some time ago. You can see how I made the monoprint in THIS YT Short.

The monoprint gave me a jumping off point for my beads. The hands, which are from the Heart Hands Die Set, were already cut because I used the same hands on THIS card. I love using different skin tones to create that hand heart. I decided to use the oval beads from the Bestie Beaded Bracelets Die Set, cut from yellow, eggplant, and magenta cardstock. I used the same eggplant cardstock as a mat under my monoprinted layer.
I chose a sentiment from the Bestie Sentiments Press Plates and Dies and inked it with Monarch VersaFine Clair Ink. This was done on the same cardstock I used for my card base, which is Accent Opaque 100lb. While it doesn’t give you the deep impression that cotton cardstock gives (which is the type of paper Spellbinders recommends to use with the BetterPress for the best results), you still get a beautiful stamped image. Because of the white background from the sentiment, I opted to leave my card base white. It helps tie the sentiment in, without it making it look like it doesn’t belong.
These colors are so fabulous! I love that bold background with the different skin tones and the fun beads. I had to do very little to make this card because pretty much everything was already in my stash. The card is fun and happy and there are plenty of people I could send it to. Be sure to visit Spellbinders to see the entire Beads of Friendship Collection. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
