Hello! The new Shine Bright Collection from Carissa Wiley and Spellbinders is uplifting and fun. It’s perfect for invitations, birthday cards, or other celebrations. I used the Layered Shine Bright Die & Stencil Bundle for this card, though I didn’t use the dies from the bundle today. You can only get the stencils in the bundle.

There are 5 layers to this stencil set, which makes it very easy to work with. Lining up each layer doesn’t take long, and it’s so cool to see the letters form from the negative space. I used Distress Inks in bold colors for this. Grab your Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, and Carved Pumpkin to get this effect. I applied the colors with my Cotton Tail Blending Brushes from The Rabbit Hole Designs, and I inked my card base with the same colors.
You really could stop here. The stencil set is so cool on it’s own. But I wanted to fill that white space in the lower left a bit. The Sparkle On Press Plates and Die Set from this same collection were the perfect addition. I opted for the Birthday Glow sentiment, which I inked with Charming Pink VersaFine Clair Ink.
This set makes for such a quick card. Wouldn’t this be wonderful to make for teachers? You could change up the colors each time and give them wonderful encouragement cards that they can perhaps give to students or loved ones. Please visit Spellbinders to see the rest of the new collections. I have been having so much fun with each of them. I can’t recall the last time I had this much fun with several sets at once. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day.
Thank you so much for your kind words!
