Hello! The new Layered Sunflower Pumpkin stencil from A Colorful Life Designs may look a bit complicated on a finished card, but I promise you, it is really easy to work with. It’s a 6×9 stencil, so the “layers” are all separated, but on one stencil. It’s so well thought-out!

I used the following Distress Oxides for the stencil: Mowed Lawn, Vintage Photo, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, and Ripe Persimmon. This was a really quick process, and I think it’s so pretty on Kraft cardstock. I die cut my piece with Spellbinders’ Hemstitch Rectangle die set, and I lightly inked the edges with more Vintage Photo Distress Oxide.
I love the Hemstitch dies because it gives you the ability to have colors peeking through. I opted to take a piece of Lawn Fawn patterned paper and make a wide matte with it. I inked the card base with more Spiced Marmalade to make the orange the focal color of the card.
This is such a pretty stencil, and I didn’t feel that it needed a sentiment on the outside. Please head over to the A Colorful Life Designs website to see the thousands of available stencils.
