Hello! Last month, I shared THIS card using the Big Pug dies from Spellbinders. It’s part of the Bibi’s Cats and Pugs collection, and it is so cute. Today’s card uses the Party Puggles die set, and I have to say, creating these pugs is a blast. I love trying out different color combinations for them and using the various accessories.

I had die cut a bunch of pugs and their accessories, so before I put them all together, I went through the backgrounds I had in my stash. I found this one, which was done with the Twinkle Stars stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I don’t recall exactly how it was made, but there was some type of excess ink on it, I spritzed it with water, and applied it to my cardstock. It’s got a soft wash of color that is really pretty. Based on the background, I determined which pugs and which accessories I wanted to use.
I used assorted My Colors Cardstock for all of my die cutting. I thought that these pugs made a very cute couple, and they are certainly ready to party! My sentiment was made from the Thanks Enclosed Sentiments die set from Spellbinders. To finish off the card, I inked the edges of my card base with Wilted Violet Distress Ink.
I tell ya, I’d be very happy if these two showed up at my party. They’re just so adorable! And I didn’t do any inking on them. You certainly can, but I didn’t feel like it was necessary here. Please be sure to visit Spellbinders to see the rest of the Bibi’s Cats and Pugs collection. It’s just so cute! Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
