Greetings! I’m just gonna say it. I love this card. I love this combination of Spellbinders dies, I love the colors, the beautiful sleigh… What’s also great is that this isn’t a complicated card. It looks like there’s a lot happening, but it’s really just a matter of die cutting and gluing. I didn’t use one bit of ink.

I started with the sleigh, which is from the Delivering Joy Sleigh die set. It comes with all of those presents, the foliage, ribbon, and even poinsettia dies, which I opted to not use today. I wanted a traditional red sleigh that also had shine, which is where the foiled gold cardstock came in. I backed it with white to show off the cut out details. One of my absolute favorite color combinations is red, pink, and turquoise/teal, so I decided to do with that for my color palette. I grabbed some assorted greens for the foliage and glued everything together. My colored cardstock, by the way, is from various companies. Use what you’ve got.
Behind the sleigh, I used the Starshine Background die and then cut it with the Essential Arches, layering gold behind it to make it stand out. For my back layer, I used the same light teal cardstock I used for the presents, and kept my white card base showing, to coordinate with the white peeking out through the sleigh. I also used that teal for the “merry” which I cut from the Be Bold Lowercase Alphabet and Number die set. I love this font! It’s whimsical and elegant.
If you choose your cardstock colors, you can sit pretty much anywhere that you can bring your die cut machine and just crank out a bunch of these all at once, then spend time assembling them all. After die cutting, the card came together quickly, and I adore it. I plan on trying this with different color combinations. Please visit Spellbinders to see the beautiful selection they have. The Delivering Joy Sleigh is a must-have in my opinion if you want to create incredible holiday cards. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
