Hello! I am so excited for today’s post. First, I’d like to give a huge shoutout to Scrapbook.com, because they sent me a few of the brand new Tim Holtz and Sizzix Halloween dies. I’ve been having so much fun playing with them, and I have a bunch of projects I’ll be sharing with you soon. Today’s project uses dies from all 3 of the sets I received, but the focus is on the Vault Gothic Portraits.

I was immediately inspired by the portraits so I die cut them and the spider out of Scrapbook.com’s Mixed Media Smooth Black Cardstock. I also cut out the “forever” using the letters from the Vault Coffin Box set out of the same cardstock. The webs are cut from vellum, and they’re from the Vault Fright Night set.
So I had all of my pieces, now I needed to assemble them. I grabbed the Tim Holtz Warm Kraft Stack and cut down a piece that is a brick color. To add some interest to it, I ink smooshed Ground Espresso, Vintage Photo, and Frayed Burlap onto it. I love the blue shades that come out of the Frayed Burlap when it oxidizes. I adhered all of my pieces to the panel when it was dry and then added some chunky layers of Crypt Grit Paste around some of the perimeter. I mounted the panel onto a white card base.
I love that this card is romantic and creepy. And using these 3 new Tim Holtz and Sizzix die sets together is a blast. I can’t wait to show you the other creations I’ve made with them! Thank you again to Scrapbook.com for sending these awesome dies to me. Be sure to visit them to see the whole collection. There’s even a Bundle option if you love them all. BONUS!
