Hello! I have a new card that features the Bayfair collection by Rosie’s Studio, available through Spellbinders. This collection is perfect for beginners, or for folks that don’t want to stamp or color. You can simply play with the papers and embellishments and come up with some beautiful, heartfelt designs.

The 6×6 Designer Paper Pad has been so much fun to work with. I really liked the patterned paper with the birds, so that was my starting point. I went through the Bayfair Cardstock Sticker Sheets and found the sticker with the birds on it. I needed to ground it somehow, so I chose one of the blue papers from the Paper Pad and die cut it with 2 of the Hemstitch Rectangle Dies. The size was a little awkward for the sticker, so I looked through the sticker sheets again and found the “dear friend.” This filled up the space nicely.
I love the gold detail that’s on the bird sticker, so to highlight it further, I used some gold foiled cardstock from Michaels and cut a piece to fit behind the Hemstitch Rectangle and then an additional strip to ground that layer. It elevated the card’s style so much. I inked my card base with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide and then adhered all of my layers down.
For me, sometimes it’s nice to just use simple things like patterned paper and ephemera to throw together some cards that aren’t complicated, but are still pretty and fun. This collection is perfect for doing just that. Please be sure to visit Spellbinders to see the entire Bayfair by Rosie’s Studio collection. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
