Hello! I have another card featuring the Bayfair collection by Rosie’s Studio, available from Spellbinders. The 6×6 Designer Paper Pad has so many great prints, and I used one of my favorites as the focal layer today. I also got to use a couple of Spellbinders dies that I love to work with.

Seriously, I adore this patterned paper. It’s stunning. I would love it as wallpaper in a dressing area. I knew I didn’t want to do too much to the paper, because I didn’t want to hide it or lose how beautiful it is. So I die cut it with the Hemstitch Rectangles so it would fit onto my card base. Then I dug through the Bayfair Cardstock Diecut Ephemera Sentiments to see what I wanted to use. I chose that friendship banner, but it has a hole in the right side for ribbon or twine. I didn’t really want to use either, as I thought it would be distracting, so instead I chose to hide the hole with that circle with the heart.
I thought the light green was getting a little lost, so I took out the Pierced Mini Labels that was released last year and die cut a piece of the green floral paper from the 6×6 Paper Pad. It really helps to make that sentiment more of a focal point. I layered the pieces together and added a bit of foam under the heart so help it sit evenly. I inked my card base with Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide, and made sure to go far enough in so that you would see the color through the hemstitches. This is one of the features I really love about that die set. I added a few Rainbow Pearl Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs to the card as well.
This is such a pretty card, with really minimal work. It’s elegant and lovely. Please visit Spellbinders to see the rest of the Bayfair Collection. It’s quite versatile. I’ll have even more cards using it this month. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
