Hello! I’ve got a new House Mouse card to share today, featuring the ridiculously sweet Flower Market stamp set. You get the focal stamp, plus two sentiments on cling mounted red rubber. House Mouse now gets released through Spellbinders and they have a ton of them!

I stamped the scene with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink because it’s Copic marker friendly. I used the following Copics to color the image in:
Skin: e21, E33, E50, E93
Fur: T2, T4, T6, E53, E57, E59
Water: B00, B02, B000
Flowers: V15, V17, B23, B45, B97, Y08, Y15, YR04, RV13, RV14, G07, YG17, YG67, G24
Coin: E21, E33, E35
Sign: E31, E50, E57
Grass: G21, G24, YG67
For the sky, I used Summer Sky Memento Ink.
I created a mat layer using a piece of patterned paper from Echo Park’s Pool Party Paper Pad and the I die cut it with the Hemstitch Rectangles from Spellbinders. I also die cut the focal layer with this set. I inked the edges of my white card base with Dusty Concord Distress Ink. I love that you can see the color through the die cut hemstitch.
This is a more daunting image to color, but it’s so much fun! I recommend breaking it down into sections. Do the skin, then the fur, then the grass….you’ll be left with small details that you can get really creative with! That’s it for me today. Be sure to visit Spellbinders to see the full House Mouse collection. Thanks for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
