Hello! I’ve got a new House Mouse card to share, and it’s very appropriate for this blustery time of year. It’s called Breezy Day, and like all of the other House Mouse stamps, it’s totally adorable. You can get House Mouse stamps through Spellbinders.

I stamped the focal image onto Strathmore’s Smooth Bristol Cardstock and then inked the stamp with VersaFine Clair Ink in Nocturne. This ink is great for when you’re working with watercolors or watercolor markers. I colored the stamp with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. Here’s the breakdown of colors:
Clothes Line: 091, 094
Clothes Pins: 066, 072, 064, 095, 097
Mice Skin: 064, 069, 071, 072
Mice Fur: 062, 064, 065, 901, 903, 908, 094, 904, 905
Socks: 048, 049
Shirt: 303, 304, 305
After I colored the image, I die cut it with the Hemstitch Rectangle Dies from Spellbinders, using the 2nd largest of the plain and hemstitch dies. After that, I inked the edges with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I created another layer with a piece of Lawn Fawn’s Fall Fling Paper Pad. I stamped the sentiment, which is part of the Breezy Day set, on a strip of white cardstock with VersaFine Clair Ink in Twilight. And then…I left my card base white! I know, it’s a shock. 😉
I know I say it every time, but these mice are just so cute. I love coloring them. You can check out all of the available House Mouse stamps over at Spellbinders. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
