Greetings! I’ve got an adorable and brightly colored House Mouse card to share today. The latest House Mouse release from Spellbinders included 4 new stamp sets, and this one might be my favorite, but it’s so hard to choose! It’s called Birthday Wishes and it comes with 4 sentiments.

After stamping the Birthday Wishes stamp with Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black, I used the following Copics to color it in:
Skin: E21, E33, E50, E93
Fur: E21, E25, E29, T2, T4, T6
Flames: Y35, Y38, YR07
Candles: RV04, RV09
Plate: RV04, RV10, RV23
Cake: BG15, BG23, BG49, RV04, RV09, V17
Ground: W2, W5
I inked the edges of the panel with the residual ink that was on my blending brush. Looks like it’s mostly Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. Next, I die cut my sentiment which is from Spellbinders’ Handwritten Sentiments set. I used a hot pink and a teal colored cardstock. There’s a lot of great sentiments in this set. I added a mat of patterned paper from Lawn Fawn (All the Dots paper pad), and inked the edges of my card base with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink. I added some Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs for some shine.
I love how this came out. It’s so cheerful, which is what a birthday card should be! I just love the color combo of hot pink and teal…it’s one of my favorites. I hope you’ll check out the rest of the House Mouse collection over on the Spellbinders web site. There are even more getting released in a few days! Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
