Hello! Today’s card features the Snowy Penguins Fransformer stamps from Stampendous and Spellbinders. With Fransformers, you can change up the arms, legs, accessories, etc. on your focal stamps to make them look exactly how you want. Plus, you can interchange stamps between the various Fransformer sets. I also used the Flurries stencil from A Colorful Life Designs.

I began by coloring my Snowy Penguins with Copics and fussy cutting them out. I used: C1, T2, B93, B97, B99, YR23, E35, E25, E15, B00, G00, YG41, R81, RV17, RV55, RV63, BV08, BV13, BV17, BV02. For my background, I decided to use Stampendous’ Quick Card Backgrounds in Winter Splash. But, I wanted to add a bit more to it, which is where the Flurries stencil comes in. I used a purple, a teal, and a pink pigment ink all over the stencil, then embossed it with a kaleidoscope glitter embossing powder. To create a snowy ground, I tore a couple of pieces of vellum to create hills.
I created a frame out of lilac colored cardstock, which I inked with Shaded Lilac Distress Ink. The frame was made from 2 of the dies from the A2 Matting Basics A. I mounted everything onto a white card base, which I inked with Spun Sugar Distress Ink. My sentiment was inked up with Twilight VersaFine Clair Ink.
I think this came out really cute. I have a thing for coloring my penguins blue instead of black, I’m not sure why, but it’s what I usually do. I really liked the addition of the stenciling on to the Winter Splash background. It added a little something extra, especially with that sparkle. You can check out the rest of the Fransformers over on the Spellbinders website. And, if you shop at A Colorful Life Designs, you can use my code, AlFan10 to save 10% on your order.
