Hello! I have a quick Christmas card to share today using the base set of the Spellbinders Merry Mugs and Circle Delights Dies. I used the Festive Ornaments dies specifically, and made a fun Santa themed card.

I die cut the focal part of the ornament with an old red glitter cardstock from DCWV. I used regular black for the belt, and gold foiled cardstock for the buckle and topper. I had some pretty ivory and gold baker’s twine to “hang” the ornament with.
I found the fun Santa paper in Echo Park’s Jingle All the Way paper pack and then the black striped cardstock is over 15 years old. My sentiment is from Spellbinder’s Santa’s Sippin’ Sayings stamp set, and I heat embossed it in white on to a black cardstock strip. I kept my card base white this time.
These cute ornament cards are fantastic ways to use up some patterned paper. There’s no inking involved (except perhaps for a sentiment) and you can get many of these done quickly. Especially of you find a layout you really like. You can just change it up with the paper or ornament style you create. Be sure to check out the entire collection over at the Spellbinders website. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
