Greetings! Today’s card has a bunch of new products on it. Many are from Spellbinders, and one is from A Colorful Life Designs. It’s festive and fun, and I hope you like it.

The most obvious element of the card is the fabulous Dancin’ Day of the Dead Girl from Spellbinders. You can actually make her body dance if you attach it to the card a certain way. I opted to keep her from moving this time, but she’ll be dancing on the next version I make. I used lots of bold colored scraps to cut all of the pieces out. I also added a few larger flowers from the Gnome Drive Spring die set. The coordinate with the other flowers perfectly. In the center of the flowers, I added Fruit Punch Stickles (that color is no longer available).

For my background, I used the latest Mid-Month Inspiration stencil from A Colorful Life Designs, called Circle Quilt. At the time of posting, this stencil is on SALE! I inked it up on some patterned paper with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink, and to make the color even bolder, I used a clear pink embossing powder on top of that. On my card base, I used Peacock Feathers. The sentiment is from an old Heidi Swapp stamp set, that I put on vellum and then heat embossed with black.

She is so festive! I can’t wait to die cut her outfit in completely different colors. Be sure to visit Spellbinders to see the August 2023 release, and A Colorful Life Designs to see theirs.
