Hello! With the name of this blog post, you may have thought this was going to be a Halloween project. Eventually I’ll use the Webby Mask from A Colorful Life Designs that way, but today’s card is geared towards anyone that loves sparkle.
I had a roll-off monoprint that was made with pink and purple acrylic paint. I laid the Webby Mask on top and inked the pink side with Glamourous VersaFine Clair and the purple side with Monarch VersaFine Clair. The inks were applied with cosmetic sponges. VersaFine Clair inks can be embossed, so I sprinkled the whole panel with a clear kaleidoscope glitter powder and heat set it.
Using the Monarch ink and the same embossing powder, I added the sentiment, which is from A Colorful Life Design’s newest stamp set, called Glitter, onto a piece of vellum. I cut the edges of that and a lavender colored mat with my Tonic Deckle Trimmer. I added a few sequins that coordinated with the ink colors that were below them and mounted it all on to a white card base.
Roll off prints provide a way to make quick cards. You can treat them like patterned paper, though there are advantages to them not having an actual pattern. Please be sure to visit A Colorful Life Designs to see the many, many stencils they have to offer. You can use my code, AlFan10 to save 10% off of your regular-priced purchase. Then, show off your creations in the A Colorful Life Designs Fan Group on FB. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
