Greetings! The latest release from A Colorful Life Designs is filled with stencils that are perfect for the coffee and tea lovers in your life. Today’s card uses the Coffee Love stencil which is coffee beans that make the shape of a heart. In addition, I used the newest stamp set from A Colorful Life Designs, simply called Coffee.

I had some old cardstock that had a sandy look to it, and I ink blended the Coffee Love stencil on it, hanging off the right edge. Please note, the stencil is a full heart, I just wanted to have it fall off the side. I inked it with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I grabbed an old coffee cup die from Paper Smooches (they are unfortunately no longer in business) and cut it out of ivory cardstock and Kraft, plus a little pink heart from patterned paper. I inked the Kraft pieces with Walnut Stain to give it a bit of shadowing. All the pieces of the die is a single layer except the outline of the lid, which is doubled to make it stand out.
I added my sentiment from the new Coffee stamp set and adhered the background and cup to a brown card base. This card is very fast to make. The die goes together easily and because the stencil and cup are both big, I didn’t need more than that sentiment.
This card would be great to make into a set. Perhaps changing the sentiments and the color of the heart. It’s just a fun card to send to anyone you’re thinking about that loves coffee.
