Hello! There are so many fantastic coffee and tea-themed stencils (and even a stamp set!) in the April Release from A Colorful Life Designs. I’ve been having a lot of fun putting them together in different combinations. Today’s card is about having some “sereni-tea,” and I got to use one of the Gel Press Prints I made during this week’s Monoprint Mondays on YouTube Shorts. You can see it HERE.

I stenciled the Tea Pot stencil on some wheat colored cardstock. It has some mottling on it, so it gives it an interesting look. I inked it with Abandoned Coral and Candied Apple Distress Inks. after I cut it out, I realized how well it went with my monoprint from this past Monday which uses the Links stencil. I inked the edges of it with Ripe Persimmon. Next, I stamped the “Mama needs” from the Coffee stamp set and stenciled “sereni-tea” from the new Tea Affirmations stencil with Abandoned Coral.
To ground the elements and give the card some depth, I grabbed some brick-colored textured cardstock and inked it with Golden Glitz Delicata Ink from Imagine. It catches the light so nicely. On the edge of my white card base, I inked Scattered Straw Distress Ink. I’m really trying to work with Distress colors I don’t use too often.
My kids are on Spring Break starting tomorrow, and believe it or not, that gives me a lot of serenity. I love when they’re home, without the hustle and bustle of school. So I’m gonna fill up my hypothetical cup with lots of sereni-tea and enjoy the break with my family. I hope you get to drink up your sereni-tea too.
