Offbeat Circles with Foil

Hello! I have a really cool card to share today that uses the Offbeat Circles stencil from A Colorful Life Designs. I had mentioned at the beginning of the month that I foiled a bunch of backgrounds using the new stencils from A Colorful Life Designs. This was the stencil that inspired me to play with my Deco Foil from Therm O Web. It was just perfect for the Summer Rainbow foil.

I applied Therm O Web’s Transfer Gel Duo through the Offbeat Circles stencil on to black cardstock. After I let it dry, I ran it through my laminator with the Summer Rainbow Foil. I find that I get better results when I run the foil through the laminator as opposed to my die cut machine. The Gel tends to get a bit squished through my die cutter.

Look at that shine! The stamp I used is from Picket Fence Studios and she’s called Keisha Girl. I colored her with Copics, and I made sure to write my combos down for you.

I fussy cut her out and applied some Black PITT Pen to the edges to give them a finished look. My sentiment is from Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous’ Noteworthy stamp set. This set has become a fast favorite of mine because of the unique phases and fantastic font. I heat embossed it on to black cardstock with silver embossing powder. I mounted everything on to a gray card base.

I love how this card turned out. Keisha is so cool, and I really enjoyed making her clothes and headphones coordinate with the background.
