Hello! I have a fun card that uses the Links stencil from A Colorful Life Designs and a really fun stamp set from Ellen Hutson called Abstract Nature. You’ll see this stamp set used again next week in my next tutorial for Imagine.

I did some ink smooshing on a small panel of cardstock using Tattered Rose, Speckled Egg, and Broken China Distress Oxide. On top of that, I inked the Links stencil with Weathered Wood Distress Oxide. I flicked on some Rich Cocoa Fireworks! Spray from Imagine and a torn piece of cardstock that almost perfectly matches Tattered Rose with my sentiment.
On my bigger panel, I used that Abstract Nature stamp set with the same colors I used for ink smooshing, but with the addition of Ground Espresso for the little dots. On my card base, I inked the edges with Tattered Rose.
I think this combo of stamps and stencil really worked well together. This is fun playtime kind of card. You don’t need to think too much, or concentrate on coloring an image…you can just smoosh, stamp, stencil and play. Please be sure to visit A Colorful Life Designs to see the many, many stencils they have to offer. You can use my code, AlFan10 to save 10% off of your regular-priced purchase. Then, show off your creations in the A Colorful Life Designs Fan Group on FB. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
