Hello! I’ve got a Halloween card today that not only uses up some paper scraps, but has a very cool stencil from A Colorful Life Designs on it. It’s called Tangled Webs, and it’s a perfect stencil for Halloween.

I had a small scrap of cardstock that had some Distress Inks on it, I believe I had used them on my Gel Press Plate. I inked the Tangled Webs on top with Villainous Potion…I like that the webs are thick enough so that you can really see the colors underneath. I dug through my patterned paper and found this candy-filled one from Echo Park’s “I Love Halloween” collection that I thought worked perfectly.
On top of those layers, I added a double layer of this “happy halloween” die from a past Hero Arts My Monthly Hero kit. I used a shimmery orange cardstock for the top layer. On my card base, I painted on some Pear Tart Fireworks! Spray from Imagine, which added even more shimmer.
I hope that you’ll check out the full October release from A Colorful Life Designs, especially if you’re a fan of Halloween. And be sure to check out the older Halloween releases too, because there are a ton of fabulous stencils (including this one) in the theme of Halloween.
