Hello! I have a card today that uses a new stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called “Love Web” and a digi that I colored up eons ago. This is another one of those kinda Halloween, kinda everyday type of cards. I’m curious…would you use this for Halloween or any time of year?

I started by using the Love Web mask on cream cardstock. This mask also comes with an additional piece that allows you to ink a solid web, if you choose to. I used a warm grey ink for this, and for the heart, a mauve colored VersaMagic ink. I really wanted that heart to stand out, so I used a metallic gunmetal-colored Nuvo Drops.
I had dug through my colored images and came across this one from Slinky Tart, called Bite Me. I couldn’t find the digis available online anymore, but I did find the artist’s Amazon shop that has her art in coloring books. You can check them out HERE. I believe I colored her with Spectrum Noir markers, which means she is realllly old. She worked so well with this Love Web.
I added some Black Assortment Starburst Rhinestones from the Sparkle Blends Shop along with some cool washi tape from Ranger and a sentiment. I also added the same ink to my card base that I used in the heart.
Again, I don’t think this card needs to be for Halloween, but it certainly can be. I am really happy that I have been able to go through my stash ad find older backgrounds and colored images that work with new products that I have. I hope you’ll check out the new release from A Colorful Life Designs. You can use my code, AlFan10 to save 10% off of your purchase, not including Master Bundles.
