Hello! I’ve got a (gulp!) holiday card to share today. Every once in a while, I get the idea I should make some holiday cards nice and early, so that I don’t rush when it’s time to send them out. The Quirky Christmas Tress from A Colorful Life Designs inspired me as soon as I got the stencil in the mail.

I made my background by inking up a Gel Press with Caribbean Sea Kaleidacolor Inks.
Pro Tip! You can get beautifully blended backgrounds without a lot of physical labor by just using a Gel Press and a brayer. There is hardly any physical effort involved with this, so it’s easy on your body, but you still get amazing results. I placed my Quirky Christmas Trees stencil on my background and inked it with a dark green ink. Truth be told, I can’t recall which ink I used.
I knew I had some great critter stamps to work with, so I flipped through my Clearly Besotted collection and found these sweet bears from the Christmas Line Up stamp set. I colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens, and gave them a loose fussy cut. For my snow drift, I just cut some white cardstock to the shape I wanted my drift to be, and added some gray shadows with my Zigs.
By changing the sentiment, this could easily be for a winter birthday card, or as fun all-occasion card that gets mailed during the cold months.
