Hello! I have a really simple card to share with you today that uses the new Folk Flowers stencil from A Colorful Life Designs, a Kaleidacolor Ink Pad, and a Gel Press.

With the techniques I used, I am actually able to get 3 unique prints, but I am only sharing one today. I made a video on how to make these prints. You can check it out HERE. For this one, I inked up my 6×6 Gel Press with the Denim Kaleidacolor Inks. I pressed the inks on to the plate and then used a brayer to blend them together. Next I placed my stencil on top of the plate. I took a piece of high-quality copy paper and laid it on to the stencil and rubbed the entire surface evenly, to pick up all the ink from the negative spaces. Then I pulled the paper off and was left with what you see on my card. It’s clean, has great colors, and makes a nice background.
I adhered the trimmed down monoprint to a gray card base. Then, I die cut the “hello” die and it’s shadow from Pinkfresh Studio’s Classic Word Die Set from navy blue cardstock and a foiled light blue cardstock. I added some sequins from the Twilight Meadow Sparkle Blend from Doodles Paper Playground for some more shine.
This card came together quickly, and like I mentioned earlier, you can get 2 additional prints from this, without adding more ink! I’d love to know if you plan on checking out my video. Please be sure to visit A Colorful Life Designs to see the hundreds of stencils that are available. There are so many amazing stencils that are unlike any you may have seen before. You can use my code, “AlFan10” to save 10% off of your purchase, not including Master Bundles. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!
Thank you so much for your kind words!
