Greetings! Last week, I posted THIS card and THIS card using 2 of the 3 new Pine Trees stencils from A Colorful Life Designs. Today, I am sharing the 3rd, using a different technique from the other 2. Today’s stencil is called Pine Tree Right.

For this card, I taped down my stencil on to a forest green cardstock, and inked up the negative space with the gorgeous Golden Glitz Delicata Ink, and I heat set it to dry it quickly. I trimmed down the panel and I used a White Posca Pen to highlight some of the details of the stencil. I kept the look super sketchy.
Although this stencil lends itself well to mini slimline cards, I opted to use it with a cream colored A2 sized card base. On the base, I repeatedly stamped one of the Cling Grunge Script stamps from Stampendous with VersaFine Clair Ink in Pinecone. On top of that, I added a piece of brown cardstock that I tore for texture, then added my Pine Trees Right layer. For my sentiment, I used Stamping Bella’s Planty Dandy, with more Pinecone ink on Kraft cardstock. I popped it up for dimension.
I love the rustic feel of this card. The gold Delicata ink really makes it special. Working with these 3 Pine Tree stencils from A Colorful Life Designs has been really fun, and I may need to use them for some of my holiday cards…I think they’ll be perfect.
